Estiluz's Circ lamp lights up Amazon's headquarters in Arlington
The recently inaugurated Amazon headquarters in Arlington, Virginia, is not only a milestone in architectural and technological innovation but also a testament to design and sustainability. Among the standout elements in this iconic project is the Circ lamp by Estiluz. It was chosen to complement the welcoming and functional atmosphere of this unique space.
Circ: Design that Transforms Spaces
Created by Nahtrang Studio, Circ delivers both direct and indirect lighting through its translucent glass diffuser paired with a sleek decorative ring. Available in finishes such as black and satin gold for interiors and rust for outdoor. This lamp is perfect for bringing sophistication to high-profile projects like the Amazon headquarters.
Circ seamlessly integrates into the corridors and communal spaces of the headquarters, shining for its ability to blend aesthetics and functionality. Its versatility not only lights up the surroundings but also adds character, perfectly matching the clean, modern lines that define this iconic project.
Its inclusion in Metropolitan Park, the first phase of Amazon’s headquarters, was made possible through collaboration with Lighting Workshop, a Brooklyn-based lighting design firm. Meanwhile, Gensler, the world’s largest architecture firm, led the project, emphasizing sustainability and innovation in the design of the two 22-story towers that make up the headquarters.
The Importance of Lighting and Design
The Metropolitan Park campus is more than a corporate office—it features landscaped terraces, pedestrian pathways, public open spaces, and recreational areas. These headquarters exemplify a space where design and functionality enhance the human experience, and Estiluz's Circ adds warmth and sophistication to these dynamic environments.
This project underscores the transformative power of well-executed lighting design. We’re proud that our lighting can contribute to such high-caliber projects, meeting the highest standards of quality while promoting sustainable and people-centered design.
